I currently hold the postion of Assitant Technical Director at PlayMakers Repertory Company in Chapel Hill, NC for their 2013-2014 season. I am also employed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill serving as a Teaching Assistant for Drama 160-Technical Methods. Below is a brief sample of my resume. Production Technical Director-PlayMakers Repertory Company

​Chapel Hill, NC, 2013

 

The Mountaintop- Co-Production with Triad Stage, Greensboro, NC. Worked directly  with the Scenic Designer and Director in order to fulfill the desired artistic concept. Managed a scene shop of two full  time carpenters, nine graduate students and seven undergraduate work studies. Drafted all construction plates, maintained a detailed weekly budget, and supervised load-in and strike at both PlayMakers and Triad Stage. Collaborated with the technical director at Triad Stage to ensure all scenic and special effect units function properly in both theatres.

 

 

Assistant Technical DIrector-PlayMakers Repertory Company

Responsibilities included maintaining inventory control spreadsheets,   purchasing receipts and money tracking, safety training and tool qualifications, shop scheduling, safety in the shop and theatre spaces, tool maintenance, and the upkeep of a tool maintenance database.  

 

 

Teaching Assistant-Drama 160-Stagecraft-The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

2012-2014

 

A general survey of personnel, materials, equipment, and processes used in design and technical theatre. Responsibilities include grading papers and exams, the mentoring of  students with special interests in technical theatre, to assist with the preparation of tests and exams, and to prepare classroom for lectures.
